Recap of This Past Week's Race
Hey there once again! I am your inside official, Dylan, here with the information and recap on this past week's Manchester Golf-Cart League race positioned on 9th Street between Wayne and Bond. The blustery April weather minimized the crowd, but true die-hard fans refused to miss one second of the intense action. League racers Kyle and Carson stole the spotlight as they pulled their golf-carts up to the starting line. After receiving the signal to go, the heated race exploded with Kyle pushing in the lead within seconds. The hairpin turn at Bond Street proved to be difficult for Kyle in his four-wheeled, four-passenger cart. Carson's three-wheeled cart possessed the turning advantage over Kyle's and brought the racer's neck to neck. This did not put Kyle at a disadvantage--he won the race and skidded to a victorious halt. The crowd roared with excitement!
After seconds of trash-talk between the drivers, the carts were realigned at the starting line for another quick race before the police might arrive. The "go" signal sent the racers into yet another close, head-to-head battle. Carson and Kyle remained side-by-side until Kyle executed a lightning-fast maneuver around Carson. After the hairpin turn, the race appeared to be in Kyle's favor. However, only yards from the finish line, Kyle's motor unexpectedly seized. His cart inched to a halt as Carson passed him and won the second race.
Settling the Score
Rumors of Kyle's new golf-cart motor and Carson's lightened cart frame have been spreading like wildfire among fans of this rapidly growing underground circuit. Only one of these drivers will win the deciding battle between one another. Although I cannot disclose complete information about the next Manchester Golf-Cart League race on our page, I can tell all you fans it will be happening this Sunday. Additional information will be provided via our "mole" as the date approaches, so keep your calendar's free and come support your favorite MGCL driver!
